My name is André Martins. I am a musician, professor, Ph.D. researcher graduated at the University of Sao Paulo, composer, performer, instrumental artist, passionate about music, cinema, radio, technology and sound. I have over 25 years of EXPERIENCE in teaching music, composition and improvisation, and how to use the digital technologies in music, sound-art, music and sound for cinema and music theory. I am especially interested in sound-studies, music and philosophy, the applications of AI and Machine Learning in sound and music creation practices, in real time. I am a recording artist, a researcher at NuSOM/USP, a professor at the Post-Graduation course at FASM/SP, a guest professor at Souza Lima College of Music and a Post-Doc researcher at USP.

He works as an instructor in the guitar and instrumental guitar area, with private and personalised online classes.

Composer and arranger of three instrumental albums: "Infinito" (2002), "Argila" (2009) and "Harlem" (2014), with his own compositions and several experiments in timbre and sound. In September/2020 was released the fourth album, "Binaural", recorded jointly with KLO (Kopenhagen Laptop Orchestra), from Denmark and the audio engineer Paulo Assis, from AudioClicks studio. "LIVRE", recorded live with saxophone player Manu Falleiros, released by TRATORE, 2023.
